One team final

Were there two teams on the pitch in Rome last night? I saw only one, one at a time that is. For the first ten minutes, it was Manchester United, then, after they scored the first goal, it was Barcelona all the way. The goal may well have come against the run of play but Barcelona more than made up for it later. I've scoured the Internet looking for an angle to write about, all I could find was Messi vs. Ronaldo. Neither one had scored a goal against a club from the opposing country. Messi won that battle with his glorious goal on seventy minutes. Otherwise, Barcelona was by far the better team on the night and I couldn't find anything interesting, apart from the match itself, but that's on the sports pages of every paper worldwide and you've probably read about it. In the end, I watched Sky News this morning when they were interviewing Manchester United fans returning home from Rome. It was quite remarkable to hear them. Of course they were all a bit down to say the least but they all agreed the best team won on the night. Manchester United was just not up for it.

All the best.
