Nordic Sport is literally running into the future, while aiming for new goals. The company is expanding its business in Stockholm, and at the same time a new CEO enters the company.
"The future is very thrilling," says Dennis Österberg, that will be the new CEO of the company starting 2011-03-29.
Nordic Sport is situated in the far north of Sweden, and is considered one of the world's leading suppliers of athletics equipment. During the last few years they have also become in other segments as football and hockey. With smart solutions like their famous soccer product "Eco Goal" they have gained attention from all around the world.
"The wind is blowing in the right direction so it is time for us to set sail to reach new goals, "says Börje Österberg, chairman of the board.

We are changing gear
"Our success has now come to the point where we have to look over our organisation and change gear. This is why we now move forward toward new goals," Börje Österberg continues. "We are doing this by appointing a new CEO and hiring more employees. The CEO, Dennis Österberg has been working for the company a couple of years and has made a great change. In accordance to a new CEO we have also hired a new Purchase Manager, Lennart Marklund. Our head office will remain in Skellefteå. We have branch offices in Arvidsjaur and Stockholm and a sister company in Tallinn, Estonia. The company has slightly more than 20 employees in Sweden. Right now with set sails we are not only producing goals, we are also setting new ones for the company. This time we will exceed everything we have managed so far. New products, new athletes that use our products and new times, that is what we are now heading for," ends Börje Österberg.
