Liz Parnov!

In early 2010, Liz twice equalled the Commonwealth Games A-standard, clearing 4.30m at meets in Perth and Sydney, securing her spot on the 2010 Commonwealth Games Team headed for India in October. Liz is the daughter of pole vault guru Alex Parnov - coach of world, Olympic, world indoor and Commonwealth Games champion Steve Hooker. Liz's sister Vicky is also an Australian pole vaulter, her aunt is pole vault Olympic silver medallist Tatiana Grigorieva and her grandmother is Natalya Pechonkina who won Olympic bronze for the USSR in the women's 400m at the 1968 Games. She and her family moved from Russia to Australia in 1996.
