When old times become new times demands tend to change, some quicker than others. This is when it is vital to tag along and change. -It might seem drastic but after 38 years, we think it is time, says Dennis Österberg, Marketing and Sales Officer at Nordic Sport. We have a new approach and to symbolize this we now change our logotype after being in the business for so long. -We can tell that the wind is changing, he continuous, our products have steadily improved and developed during the company's 38-year-old history. Now the time has come to our logotype, it represents the company, Dennis Österberg explains.
20 percent in new media
Due to new media people look for information in new ways. They use their IPhones, their mobile or perhaps their IPad. In future marketing you have to run fast. According to PWC one fifth of all PR and marketing will take place in the new media by 2013. Nordic Sport has taken the lead and are well adjusted for the future. -We started a blog on our webpage quite a while ago. We think it is a great way to interact and communicate with our customers. We find it obvious to provide this service to our customers and everyone else that takes an interest in sports. There are numerous possibilities out there and with our new logotype we belong there. We want everything that has to do with our company to be innovative and creative, not just our products. We have, quite recently, moved our office in Stockholm and can now be found in the city centre. We have merged two of our factories into one. The one that was former found in Skellefteå is now a part of our plant in Arvidsjaur. Also a part of our renewal. We give the users of our products the opportunity to win gold medals, which is why the company has to strive to be in the leading-edge, Dennis Österberg concludes the interview.
There is plenty of speed
There is plenty of speed on tracks laid by Nordic Sport and speed is something the company shows. The last five years, ever since Dennis Österberg started working for the company, much has happened. For example, a year ago he bought the company. The workforce has grown, the office in Stockholm as already mentioned has been moved, the company has developed their products and their range has been altered. Everything is fresh and new and according to Dennis Österberg they still have plenty of things on the go when it comes to new products. Even if Nordic Sport is a fairly old company with its 38-years in the business, today it seems as a completely different company than it did five years ago. The products are still top noch but a lot has changed. You have to keep up the pace not to end up behind, and that is why Dennis Österberg and his company will be found in the front line of development, both when it comes to their products and when it comes to adapting to new techniques. It will be exiting to tag along and see whereto he will bring his company in the future. One thing is for sure, their products will continue to win championships and the company will be the first to cross the finishing line in many ways.
