We have recently launched a new 600g carbon javelin. Nordic Olympia (white with green spiral).
Nordic Olympia is a competition javelin of highest quality produced in carbon. It is much softer than the regular carbon javelins and by that much more "forgiving". The carbon material makes the vibrations considerably less which gives longer throws.
Rated for lengths up to 80m. IAAF certified no: I-10-0457.

This weekend, IFK Växjö will host Wexiö Indoor Throwing Games, at Växjö Tipshall.
Last year, the Olympic Gold medalist Gerd Kanter threw a new Indoor World record (69,51 meters) and this year he is aming for another one. Using his Maxi Rim Gerd Kanter Edition Discus 2,0 kg, produced together with experts at Nordic Sport, the Estonian athleet chances of beating the 70-meter-limit are looking good.

The icehockey quarterfinals in "Elitserien" starts today. My team Skellefteå AIK will go against Färjestads BK whom they lost against in the semifinal last year.
I keep my fingers crossed, but no matter who win and scores tonight, all goals come from Skellefteå :)
Today was is the day when Indoor Worlds Championship started in Doha, Qatar. We have tried to be a supplier to the event, but as you may see, we did not succeed. Still, some of our equipment have still found the way to the Championship thru some of our fantastic dealers. Keep a close eye on the equipment and you will see.

Finally after your suggestions and votings, the name of our new javelin is set.
The name of the new children's javelin will be:
NORDIC BUDDY
The majority of you have made your voice heard and we are happy that, for the first time in Nordic Sport's history, we let our customers and partners name a javelin.
The name Nordic Buddy came from Andreas Thornell, Competition Director at Swedish Athletic Association.
So, we would like to congratulate him!
The Nordic Buddy javelin will be available for sales monday next week...
